Ed Singer rewrites history with ‘Paradise’

It is not common place to have an artiste whose heart is that of gold and at the same time is focused on re-writing history in the music world. Ed Singer is a Nigerian-born music artiste based in Chicago whose music genre is akin to pop and rocksteady music.

The musician who was inspired by his mum at a young age has his music genre influenced by Bruno Mars, Michael Jackson. No wonder this speaks in his latest single, Paradise and old tunes reverberates his depth. Edidiong Udoidiong (his real name) after moving to the United States in 2012, perfected his craft and is poised to donate fifty percentages (50%) of proceeds from all album sales/tours/shows to charity.

Speaking about his music, he said, “I try to infuse my African roots into my music and add a bit of western flavor. Some of the American artists that have influenced me along the way are Bruno Mars, Seal and Michael Jackson. I also really enjoy Adam Levine’s music. I really admire his voice.”

The singer whose ethos is excellence worked his way up the ladder of the music, has worked with Grammy award-winning mix engineer, Michael Brauer, a five times Grammy Award Winning mixer, mixed Ed’s songs including “Arise.” Michael also mixed the likes of John Mayer, Coldplay, The Rolling Stones, and many more.

Having released a couple of songs, the talent musician is also currently in the studio working on his latest EP due out this year.

Ed and his latest single titled ‘Paradise’ which he says was influenced by the late King of Pop’s big hit “Beat It”.
